SENDHELPHUB.ORG provides one-to-one homework support in Cambridgeshire for primary-aged children with disabilities, focused on Maths, Reading and English. This can be set up by either the school, parents or carers. There are limited spaces each term.
Some days, there just isn't time. Between appointments, admin, and caring for your family, sitting down for homework or reading can be the thing that slips. Homework Support Hub steps in for those moments, giving your child dedicated one-to-one time without adding to your load.
Who this is for
- Parents/Carers who want one-to-one homework or reading support for their child, when time or energy is short
- Children with disabilities, and their siblings without disabilities, since caring for a family member can affect the whole household's time and energy
- Schools and local councils who want to offer this service free to their families, as part of their support for children with additional needs

How it works
- Submit a contact form. Tell us a bit about your child and what support they need.
- We arrange a meeting. If you're a parent, we'll contact the school and set up a meeting there, or somewhere informal like a local coffee shop or library.
- Initial meeting and assessment. This is a paid session to see if your child and I are a good fit. We'll speak with the parent, carer, and/or a teacher or Teaching Assistant who knows them well.
- We write up a plan. You'll receive an outline of the support and its duration, sent for signing, along with the bill for the term.
- Sessions begin the next term, either 30 minutes after school or during school time, whichever is agreed with the school. Where a school declines, we will agree
Payment
The initial meeting and assessment is £30 per child, with £5 off each additional child assessed at the same time.
Ongoing one-to-one support is £25 per hour, billed per term once your plan is signed off.
